     Rev, as he is affectionately called in the community, has dedicated his life to the spiritual and social growth of this community. He serves on several boards and organizations. Youth are Rev's primary focus. Pastor Colllins is a bit eccentric and easily excited when it comes to talking about Jefferson County and its rich history. He has spent long hours and many months researching local history.

Rev. has interviewed many people who know, and some who lived Mississippi history. One sweet centurion interviewed was Ms. Katie H. (108yrs) who had never been out of Mississippi in her life.  “She knew the real South.” What she says about Mississippi is “People care about each other”.
